Gardening Day April 20, 2012

So our school decided that it would be "fun" for the kids to plant plants in the garden of the schools owners place.  I think the kids did have some fun and we then filed time with playing games.  I was really excited to go because the weather was finally nice and we could go hang outside.  I was also very excited to go see what a Korean house looked like.  I really didn't know what to expect but I was thinking something similar to a small house in America.  Not quite the same.  There is a picture later to show you.  

As always the kids are so dang cute I had to take pictures of them doing their planting.  After they planted the plants in the yard we all got to plant our own seeds in a pot we took back to school.

So this is the house.  It looked just like a long rectangle house made of bricks.  I did not get to go in but I was told it has some nice stuff inside.  I have to say this seemed like a way more functional house and you really don't need all the space we have in America.

Game time.  They had to hold up one foot and push each other over.  First to put their foot down lost.  Not an easy concept for the kids to get but they had a lot of fun and we enjoyed watching them.

Really fun day actually but a lot of time in the sun and the kids were quite the complainers when we headed back to school.  I was so happy to be in the sun again and not the dang cold we had for so long.  I also continue to love seeing new things in Korea and seeing how different the lifestyle is.  It was a great day and I always look forward to seeing more of Korea.  Maybe after 2 years I will feel I have seen enough.
