So I almost didn't go to this place because it is kind of far but I am so happy I did. It was a beautiful, warm day and I found out this place is kind of in the forest. So all the trees were showing their fall colors. Turns out since there is so much forest area there are lots of places to go hiking. I went up this one very steep hill and I kept going because I expected to get to the end with maybe a view of the whole area but it never ended. So I finally stopped because I was hot and it was a very, very steep hill. I went up a long way though. I even asked one guy if he made it to the end and he said it did not end. Maybe one day when I am more prepared I can try the whole thing. This place was really fun and I saw a lot of different things.
After getting off the bus you walk along this stream.
Crazy egg thing I found and it had a map like thing inside. All in Korean of course.
Love the fall colors.
Neat waterfall.
Sometimes along the stream they had art on the walls. These were really cool, big flowers.
This kid was trying to catch some fish with a net. I didn't stay long enough to see him succeed.
A random sign and the thing in it is a red cowboy hat so I have no idea what they wanted this to mean.
A crazy tunnel I decided to walk through.
This is the exit of the tunnel that you walk down to get back to the ground. Very neat looking.
Another view.
The tunnel lead to this place in the forest where a trail began and I stopped to eat lunch. There was no one trail but many many different places to go. I took one path and that lead me to the evil hill that never ended.
This is heading down the steep climb I took to no where! It may look flat in the picture, but I swear it was not.
Another pretty view of the hills around the area.
I came across this group playing a game that looked like a cross between tennis and soccer. I have no idea what the game is.
A neat design on the side of some building.
A cute little play place for kids. They could ride this train.
I love streets like this with the trees.
As I was headed back to the bus stop a group of guys were playing their saxaphones. Some random passerby began to dance and he was pretty funny to watch. The saxaphone guys were good too.
I love the dogs here.
This is just kind of a weird video of me at the first art piece I found called "3-dimentional mirrior labyrinth" created by Denmark.
Another view of the cool mirror place.
Dancing Budda from France. He had like a propellar blade on his head. I need to go back because this is a great picture for my traveling bear and I forgot him today.
Anyang crate house from Germany. It was a small house like place built from crates. I actually took this picture on my own with a timer.
Called "Girl" from Korea
The next 3 pics are from what they called "Forest of Spirits" from Korea. Some of these were neat and others were kind of creepy!
Cool park for kids.
Why can't American parks have such cool things to play with like this hampster wheel thing? This girl was funny!
Pretty flower with a bee.
The Koreans love to sleep and do it almost anywhere.
I had an awesome day and will need to go back again! It was a long day though. On the subway it took me about an hour and 15 minutes to get to Anyang and then a short bus ride.
I continue to be awed by your photographs - amazing scenery and great places - I wish parks were like that here too, my kids would love going to these places! What kind of camera do you use?
