Itaewon

I finally had a weekend of not being really sick or doing somehting else so I was able to travel around again.  I went to Itaewon for a little to explore. This is the place close to the military base (so lots of army men) and there are a ton of foreigners.  I actually felt weird being around so many foreigners and hearing English.  They have a Taco Bell here and I was going to go but the line was aorund the corner so I didn't.  They have Starbucks and I always love having Starbucks.  I even found a cute cupcake bakery and the cupcake was pretty good.  There is also a Coldstone and Quiznos.  They really like their coffee and bakery shops in this city as well.  I also learned it is a great place for souviener shopping.  I only took a couple pics so here are a few things I saw.

A crazy chandelier outside this cool building.  Sorry the sun is kind of in the wrong spot for a good pic.

Neat bird!

A very colorful hotel.

Who needs Paris!  I am pretty sure this is not a place most people want to go.  The street is probably sketchy at night.  I was told by someone that Itaewon is the red light district.

Crazy sculpture I saw.  All the blue is more little men.
