So Justine's sister came to Korea for three weeks. It just happened that I got a message from my friend sown in Busan that she was getting married that weekend so I figured it was a good chance to have Justine's sister, Fortuna, to see Busan and hit the wedding. So we left bright and early Saturday morning to catch the train and I failed in my planning (first time) and we missed the dang train. I really couldn't believe it. I never do that; I am never late. At first the lady at KTX said the trains were all full but she got us on one but we couldn't sit together which was fine! So we are on the train and I text Nicole we are on our way and she says, "Erin, the wedding is next weekend!!" Needless to say we were a week early. So we made a weekend of it anyways and still had a lot of fun! I had free tickets to Madame Tussauds from when my parents were here so we decided to use them. Other than on the wrong train and wrong weekend, we made it to Busan and had a great time!
As we got off the subway to go to the Shinsegae we were met with this huge fountain that resembled a fountain you may find in Europe!
Shinsegae in BUsan is the largest department store in the world! Man it was huge and so many things to do!
These days they have Madame Tussauds! It usually cost $20 to get in but luckily we had our free tickets because it was super small and not many wax people! Here I got to pose with the president!
Always a good time with Santa George!
These guys were really tall!
A really cool part of this Madame Tussauds was they provided things you could use to dress up with!
Breakfast with Tiffany!
Cool like Elvis!
Workout with Beckham!
We had a lot of fun posing with all the people!!
Leo was waiting outside the place and I had to hug him. He is really tall and maybe this is why he always dates models!
Very pretty Christmas tree in the shopping center!
After we had our long day at the department store, Nicole picked us up for dinner and she took us to this great beef BBQ place that overlooked Haeundae and the beautiful bridge I cannot remember the name of!
Our group! L: Nicole, Fortuna, Justine and me!
After our long day of getting to Busan we slept one night in the hostel and went to the beach and aquarium the next day. It was quite chilly but the beach is always beautiful!!
Great panoramic of the beach and me!
Now to the aquarium!!
Otters are so cute!!
Cool Christmas set up in the large tank!
Hello Korean Santa!!
One of my new favorite marine animals; finless porpoise! Love these guys and could watch them all day!
Goofing off in the souvenir shop!
Good bye to the best hostel in Busan! Nicole was so nice and let us stay for free and the place is always nice to stay in!
Great impromptu trip to Busan and we saw quite a bit for only being there 24 hours!
