Arrived

So I finally made it to Korea after an 11 hour flight and a 2 hour bus ride.  Some guy did meet me at the airport but only to put me on a  bus.  He told me it was a 2 hour ride then I get off.  Well the driver told me my stop but I had only been riding for 1.5 hours and my supervisor was supposed to meet me at the stop.  Yeah, no one there.  So here I am in some place on my own with no phone and can't read ANYTHING.  I waited 30 minutes before I asked a stranger (who spoke some English) to call my supervisor and she showed up just then.  Finally got to my "apartment" and it is so small with only a bed and a washer (all in Korean so no idea how to wash clothes yet), tiny kitcher with a sink and stove top, and a small cupboard.  No fridge yet, no dresser, no table or chair and definetly no tv (hoping hulu works here).  I am really going to have to learn to live very rustic.  The shower is not a seperate thing but a shower head you pull off ther wall and it soaks the whole place.  I am just looking forward to internet at my place and a routine so I can keep busy!  I will post pics when I have my own internet.  I am at the school now and the kids are very cute and speak pretty good English, way better then the people I talk to on the street!

Airport Waiting

So finally at the airport waiting to leave and fly for 12 hours and 15 minutes!  I think I look like a first time traveler because I took a picture of the plane.  I am pretty sure I am excited for this and I do feel like I am traveling again for fun which is one of the things I LOVE to do.  For those of you who would like to know this is a 777 on Asiana Airways.

Packing Chaos!!

So turns out it is difficult to pack within the airline rules while trying to move across the world.  Here are my three bags and the 2 big ones are about 60 pounds each!  I looked into upgrading since I didn't have to pay for the ticket and it is WAY expensive.  Allie looks so sad and not making this easier!

Testing it out

So I made the blog and am testing it out.  I added these weird fish things and will have to see how I like them.  Let me know what you think!
Also I head to Korea on Sunday the 29th.  Luckily I have a direct flight from SFO to Seoul.
