Last Days!!

The time has come for me to leave Korea again and here are some random pics form my last few days in the amazingly awesome Guri!!

Once back from Lotte World Justine helped me move the final things out of my apartment   I then went to stay with her for the last three nights in Korea!  Crazy thing seeing it all empty!  It was a small, windowless place with major mold problems but it was home and I will miss it!

Justine liked my hood picture so much she wanted to try and get her own!

She looks super skinny here!

So as a gift for me Rachel decided to take me to a Marriott buffet and it had some amazing dishes.  At the buffet part we had sushi, sashimi shrimp, cold cuts, cheese and many different salads!  In addition they brought us this meat plate with lobster, huge shrimp, two cuts of steak and abalone.  This plate you could order as many time as you wanted or even just one of the items.

Here I am in awe of all the food we are eating.

No buffet is complete without a dessert buffet.

Lastly we got a molten chocolate cake but it was quite dry and super, super rich!  I liked the old lady next to us who wouldn't eat the cake because she swore it was not cooked all the way.  It was just some fudge in the bottom.  She kept telling the waitress it wasn't done but it was.  She wouldn't even let her husband eat it!

The drive home we got to see the bridge I love seeing all the time.

Beautiful!

And a sunset on the way back to Guri for dinner!  I couldn't believe I was headed to eating again!

At my going away dinner Karen and Crystal came and this is Karen.  Such a cutie and great kid!

Not my last last night but night before and I really wanted a cake.  We tried for a Paris Baguette cake and they didn't have any so we went to Baskin Robbins and got this really cute and yummy cake!  I love their cute cakes and sometimes you even get delicious ones!

Another great year in Korea and I will miss it always!

Lotte World

So my last weekend in Korea I wanted to finally go to Lotte World.  Lotte World is a very popular amusement park in Korea and there is an indoor and outdoor area!  Turned out to be a smaller place but quite a bit to do!  So since we wanted to go to the park and it would last quite awhile we also decided to live it up and stay at the Lotte World Hotel.  Quite a plush place and we had such a good time.

In the middle of the park there is a huge skating rink and the place actually goes about 4 floors and a basement!

So part of the Lotte experience is wearing huge, cute bows on your head.  So we had to join in and they were pretty dang cute!

A view of the place.

We decided we needed to participate in an activity and we wanted to as well so we saw this really cool mirror maze!  It was really fun and a little nerve wrecking because having mirrors everywhere you don't know a wall verse a hall!!

Cool lights though!

Some interesting rooms!  Trying out some poses!

This one room had a catwalk with a very bright tunnel swirling all around us!  This crazy effect made it really hard to walk straight through it.  We had to get our pictures quickly because we were going to fall over!

Justine

Me

After the crazy tunnel  room there was a laser room where you felt like you were in a spy movie.  So Lauren and Justine decided to try and climb up and over the lasers.  So here is a picture with no flash and it looks pretty cool!

I then decided to take a picture with no flash and this is I think one of my favorite pictures of all.  The girls look so funny crawling on the floor for no visible reason!!

Once out of the maze there was the nightly parade!

Break time at the bathrooms!

Getting a bit sleepy but pushing though!

Oh man pulling out this pose from Hong Kong and it still looks ridiculous!!

We have all been Korea for quite sometime and have watched many Koreans take some odd pictures.  So we finally decided to take a couple of our own!!  This we call our communist picture!!  No smiles and that is a really hard thing for us to do!

This one is so crazy and funny!!

There is also a roller coaster inside.  We never did make it on this but looked cool!

Justine is the dolphin teacher at Griffin so she had to take a picture with the dolphin!

Next we, or I should say Lauren had us go into the Tomb of Horror and I am not a huge fan of haunted houses but I went.  We did make Lauren go first.  It wasn't too bad but I don't like things popping out at me!

We made it!

An awesome picture of Lotte World at night time with all the lights!

On one of our many adventures finding some place we wanted to get to and we found these cool trick art pictures!!

So some art pictures worked really well and looked super cool!

Love a trip to Venice!

Bad Justine!

We look super happy for being eaten by a king with a blue nail!!

Waiting for the laser show they have every night!

Weird laser show.  We couldn't understand anything seeing as it was in Korean but it seemed to be about a god and all the zodiac signs were shown!

Our super fun evening was awesome and now time to leave and try and find some food!

Yeah for dinner at T.G.I Fridays!

A view from out hotel room!

In Lotte hotel they have a character floor so we wanted to stop and see what it was all about.  Just right out the elevator were some awesome characters and all the walls were covered with toys around!

Now time to wait for the airport bus so we can go and pick up Amber, a new teacher at Lauren and Justine's school.

You cannot visit the airport and not eat at Bennigan's.  While waiting to eat a acting royal family walked around to just allow people what life used to be like and the dress.

Bennigan's is ready for St. Patty's Day!!

We decided to wait for Amber with our bows on so she wouldn't miss us!

She found us right away!!!

Thanks to these awesome girls I had an amazing last weekend and made something more for me to miss about Korea!
