So we had a three day weekend in June and I decided I wanted to go see some more Korea. My friends and I had said before we needed to go south to Busan so we finally did. We weren't actually in Busan but just east at Haeundae which is a very famous beach place. I went with Nic and Lauren and we had an amazing time. It was so nice to just go to the beach everyday and have nothing to do! Here are some pics from the different things that happened!
Since it was a holiday weekend it was crazy busy and we barely got train tickets and almost all hostels were full. But I did find this brand new place called Hello Guesthouse and it turned out to be an amazing place. There were 2 ladies who ran the place, Nicole and Sue, and they were so nice. Here is the mixed dorm room we shared! Nic was a bit unsure because he was the only guy and our room was all pink. The next day a guy showed up so he felt a bit better.
Finally the beach!
Always find the cute dogs!
As we were laying on the beach we heard some jets and then they did a show for us like the blue angels but for Korea! It was really fun to watch.
It also turned out to be the Sand Festival this same weekend and they had so many amazing different sand creations. From painting to huge designs.
They also offered sand boarding and sledding. So Lauren and I had a go! Quite fun!

The main entertainment street at night.
Kids here are so cute and so much fun to watch.
We all took naps on the beach each day
Very cute pots for plants all over town.
Soju board game. I won band-aids and a pen.
The beach got very crowded!!
A mermaid statue.
There is a small like peninsula you can walk around. Here is a bridge we got to walk over.
Beautiful flowers all over.
We went walking to find the sunset and found this yacht place with some pretty nice boats.
Sunset was pretty!
And here is Nic pointing to where we were to see the sunset.
Just a fun picture!
This is Nicole and Sue from the hostel and they were just so nice. Here we were walking to the subway station to get back to the train station. Time to leave and we were so sad!
Another cute dog on the way to the station.
At the station waiting for our train back home to Guri!
