So it has been awhile since my last post. First during winter I didn't go out much, then I lost my camera for awhile and finally got a new one when the family was here. So mom, dad, sister and bro-in-law all came to visit me in Korea and it was very tiring but so fun to be able to show them where I have been living. here are a select few pics from their visit!
So mom and dad decided to get a place to stay in Seoul and they found this place that has apartments you get. Such a nice place.
My own room.
Playing with my new camera and this is a function where you can take all the color out. Looks like a sketch!
How we all felt after each day, dad usually only made it to the couch then crashed.
At the DMZ.
Memorial they have dedicated to America and all the help we provided!
They had the seal of all 50 states! Here is Nevada.
A wall on the Freedom bridge!
Here you actually use the binoculars to look at North Korea but you can't take photos past a certain line. If you do take pictures they will take your camera and erase the pics you took.
This is the line.
Eating some potato thing in Insa-dong. It was really good.
We caught some of the lantern parade.
Seoul zoo time. We took the ski lift like thing into the zoo.
Went over the lion pen.
What my family likes doing, planning which way to go!
One of many odd translations.
Big day for sleeping cats.
Love this picture.
Always love the babies.
This polar bear was eating a fish and was so cute using his paws.
Time for more planning!
Forgot the name of this but was so cute.
Han River boat cruise. Very neat building reflecting the building next to it.
The whole family.
National Assembly Building.
Little crazy from being so tired. Also dad is putting the pant legs on his pants on the subway and I found it a little weird.
Neat pic of so many watches.
North Seoul Tower.
Neat video thing that activated when you stood on it.
Tree of locks
We went to a Kim Chi museum! I had no idea there were so many kinds.
On our last day we went to the movies and saw Tron in 3D.
Great trip and was so good to see the family. We saw a few more places but I didn't have a camera yet. We saw so many things in such a short time but was happy to see something I just hadn't made it to yet.
