Christmas Time

So it has been awhile but I am finally posting some pictures I took from Christmas time.  We did have school on Christmas Eve but mostly we partied all day.  For the kinders we had all the students bring food in and you can only imagine how much food when about 60 kids all brought something in.  We had Santa come visit them, they made holiday cookies and Christmas cards.  I really only have some pictures of my homeroom class because I worked with them all day.  I have some pictures of them making our Christmas cards and I hope to get the pictures of us making the cookies from the school later.  We also had the kids sing some Christmas carols with the dance moves we came up with.

These next pictures are what happens when students know you are taking a picture and want it taken!

Korea has really cute cakes and here is a Christmas cake we got for the party/

Mom and dad also sent me a wonderful Christmas package with Christmas lights in it so I took a picture of the lights in my place.

I did go home for Christmas.  Thanks to my sister Lyndsay and her husband Erik I was able to get a ticket home and surprise the whole family.  Mom was unable to really do anything for a minute when she saw me and then when dad got home he couldn't quite believe it so he said, "Holy shit, what are you doing here?"  I had an awesome time home and it just made me realize how great America really is.
I only took one picture while home and this was funny with 2 people in one chair and a 9 pound dog in the other!  I love my family.

We have been working hard to redo a lot of the classrooms to update them and make them look a bit nicer and her is one board I made for my homeroom.  I even made those rainbow flower things.
