This is where the fireworks were the night before.
Some art display with a bunch of different things.
Neat cat statues inside one of the places.
Beautiful park where all the activities were. Right on the Han River.
There was this huge fountain place in the middle where the kids would all play in the water. There was food and some other kind of booths on either side.
These people were acting on stilits and the show was called "Looking Back." They are from France.
Neat looking guy that is part of the cool layout of the park.
Beautiful flowers all over Korea.
The green show tent where I saw 2 shows. The lines got really long to get in really early.
The first show I saw. It was called "Soul River" and mixed a group of girls playing traditional drums and then some break dancing. It was an amazing show.
Quick clip of a show I saw. We weren't really supposed to record so it is crooked and quick.
This was the Bird's Parade where a bunch of Korean kids wore these bird suits and looked awesome.
I think they called this the floating theater. A bunch of different performances were here including a preview of the break dancers. It is their video below this.
Notice they are dancing to the Pirate's theme.
These are called "The Tourists" form France. They were really large puppet things and just walked around.
360 view of what I was seeing.
This picture is from the last weekend when we had such nice weather.
Cute character.
A guy doing a thing called "The Bed." He was on a bike with a bed built around it looking like he was in bed. He is from Spain.
Cool pin wheels!
Sunset reflecting on the buildings across the river.
Those black dots are all kites.
The crowd waiting for another firework show. I did wait a long time but got tired and just went home.
This is the last of the festival when I went with Qasem to watch the parade but we never found it. We ended up walking along the river and saw some neat things anways.
So pretty!
This was some drummers hanging in the air playing their drums with an acrobat above them. They are called "Mobile Homme" and from France.
Here is a group of drummers accompaning the flying ones.
Another random act called "M. Culbuto" from France. He just rolled around and was very odd.
They had a whole area to promote milk and there were even some cows and babies of course.
Now we are on our journey to find a subway to get home. We got a little lost but saw more neat things.
A tunnel Qasem thought would take us to the other side of the road but we got yelled at for going in because I think it was for construction purposes.
A very tiny car we walked by.
On our way of being lost we did find a nice lady who spoke English and she directed us to the subway. On the way we walked by this neat wall of flowers along the road.
Just a cool looking building.
Overall the festival was a lot of fun and gave me some fun things to do. I even liked the last day when e got lost because we saw a lot of other things.
