PJ Party at School

So school likes to have activity days about once a month and this month we had a pajama day.  So I got to wear my pj's to school and I had the job of making cotton candy.  I was a bit nervous but it ended up being fun.  So while I was making the cotton candy the kids watched a video. Once everyone was finished we played musical chairs.  Here are the classes.

Really tiring but fun day.  I do like activity days!  The kids got to make some sugar cookie thing, get their nails painted, watch a movie, have a pillow fight and eat some cotton candy!!

My Favorite Pet Cafe

So I always love to go to the pet cafe and play with very cute, loving puppies.  I met up with my friend Melanie who just returned as well.  She is located up near Paju though and that is really far so we meet half way in the city.  There seemed to be many more dogs this time and more friendly that I remember.  I had an awesome afternoon with Mel and shopping some in Hongdae!

Who doesn't love having a huge lab on their table.

This little puppy was very interested in the couch and continues to chew it.

I loved this poodle and he continued to come back to me the whole time wanting to have some attention.  When all the other dogs got riled up he would come to me for protection I guess.

I called this guy bitey because he was a very young puppy who would not stop biting me with his needle puppy teeth.  But he was so cute I would have let him bite me forever.

Baby Shower March 17, 2012

So I have been major slacking in this blog so here are a few updates.  My friends Melissa is pregnant here in Korea and Lauren put on a baby shower for her.  Melissa had never been to a baby shower before so this was really fun.  Also the Korean teachers from her school did not quite understand the whole idea but they came and were good sports.
The first thing I thought of when Lauren mentioned we were having a baby shower I wanted to make a diaper cake.  I think Lauren and I did pretty well making the cake with the supplies we had.  It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the weekend.  Having fun when first getting back here is just what I needed.

Lauren did a great job with food and we had many choices.

Melissa and I and it was St. Patty's Day

One of the games we played involved melting different chocolate bars in diapers and people had to guess what chocolate it was.  Quite a nasty looking game but it was fun and we had some good face reactions to the diapers.

Present time and I think Melissa did pretty well with gifts.  This is a towel for the kid that has a hood too!

Melissa is a small girl and even her belly isn't that big.  We played the guess how big Melissa's belly is, guess how many diapers are in the diaper cake, how many q-tips are in the jar and guess which baby food it is.  Great day and hanging out with the girls is always a good time.
