Little of this, Little of That

So we got some snow here in Guri and it reminds me a lot of home where you have it when you wake up and go to work and then it is gone by the time you go home.

So here are a few pictures form my walk to work.  It was kind of cold but not too bad.  As cold and wet as snow is it looks pretty.

Here is a video of some of my youngest class singing one of our Christmas carols, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."  I love these kids.

Thanksgiving at School

At school we had a Thanksgiving activity day where we had the kids do some different arts, crafts and baking.  These are pictures from my activity where we made hand turkeys.  They turned out pretty good but man was it a long day!

Girls Weekend

So a couple friends and I decided to have a gilrs weekend and went to an Opera and stayed in a hotel in a different part of Seoul.  I went with Lauren and met Cannandra for the first time and we had a great time.  Here are a few pics I took.  The Opera we saw was called LuLu and it was an opera in German and then Korean subtitles were provided.  we had fun trying to guess what the whole thing was about.  It was not easy.

The hallway in the hotel.  We found a room at the Art Hotel and the halls were a bit dark but a pretty nice place.  The bathroom had a seperate shower which I was excited to see.

The fountain is an actual water fountain but it looks fake because the water comes down in beads of water and sparkles a lot.

The opera house was 4 stories.  We were on the third.

Great weekend and it is always nice to get away from Guri for a little.
